Tall Timbers Baptist Conference Center is located in Woodworth, LA, surrounded by the beautiful Kisatchie National Forest. It opened in 1963 as part of Louisiana’s Woman’s Missionary Union to serve childrens mission camps. In the 1980’s with Tall Timbers coming under the direction of the Louisiana Baptist Convention and with the completion of Lee Lodge Hotel, the facility began to grow and become more of a conference center. Today, Tall Timbers serves nearly 3000 summer campers and multiple church and school groups year-round in the hope that guests will come to know Christ and strengthen a relationship with Him.
